Division series provide plenty of excitement
So far this baseball post-season has been very enjoyble as the American League and National League Division series have provided plenty of excitement and heroics. The biggest feat has been the Astros making past the first round of the playoffs for the first time in their 40+ year history. They took care of the Atlanta Braves in a 5 game series. They will be joined by the St Louis Cardinals in the NLCS, after defeating the Los Angeles Dodgers in the first round. The American League saw a familiar "David vs Goliath" matchup with the Yankees taking on the Twins. Minnesota took the first game but at the end could not handle the New York Yankee bats. The Yankees will be facing their long time rivals from Boston in the ALCS. The Boston Red Sox took care of the Anaheim Angles, sweeping them in 3 straight. The upcoming League Championship series should make for an exciting October.
