The quiet period
Not much has been going on in the world of baseball these days. The world has come to grips with the fact that the Boston Red Sox finally broke the curse and won the World Series Championship. Some players declared for free agency on November 1 and very few have signed with teams - the big names are still out there. It is expected that over the next few weeks we will probably see more news and free agent signings. Until then, its time to bundle up and hope hockey gets its house in order.
