MLB kicks off 2005 baseball season


The '05 baseball season got away last night with the New York Yankees thumping the defending World Champs, Boston Red Sox 9-2. The rest of the league began to gets its act underway today with 10 games that featured many firsts - including the first loss for the Washington Nationals. Detroit's Dmitri Young became the third player to hit three homers on opening day as the Tigers beat the Royals. With all the recent scandal still fresh in our minds, here's hoping for a fun baseball season!!
